Our travertine is extracted from our own quarry in the Peruvian Andes. The stone is formed through the natural deposition of calcium carbonate, creating the characteristic pores and subtle tonal variation associated with travertine.
Cross-cut travertine is cut across the natural direction of the stone, producing a more clouded and irregular appearance rather than a linear vein pattern. The result is a softer, more uniform visual effect with natural movement across each tile.
